Pacquiao defeats De la Hoya

manny pacman pacquiao

Manny "PACMAN" Pacquiao-the people's champ finished the "Dream Match" - Pacquiao vs De La Hoya fight, in 8th friggin' round. Finally the southpaw ring warrior proved that Filipino rules. Pacquiao has the mindset. He has the heart. He has the soul. He is one true fighter.

I can't believe that the Golden Boy walked away just like that. Where's all the training/hard work you had boy? With all those trainers and advisers you hired. Urgh! It’s a real shame that you lose so bad. Seriously I thought that De la Hoya will fight until the end. Everyone talked about Pacquiao as the underdog and that Pacquiao won’t win the fight. All I can say is that you’re all wrong, so eat your words! Hehe.. Pinoyz making Noise baby.

Truly it is a Mismatch. Mismatch because the Golden Boy can’t handle the PacMan. Damn, I’m so proud to be Pinoy!!! In round 5, De la Hoya is loosing his punch. He really looked like a punching bag for the PacMan. He was like standing there and doing nothing. In the end of round 8, trainer Nacho Beristain asked Tony Weeks, referee, to stop the bout. I feel pity for De la Hoya, The Golden boy was sent to a local hospital because of the savage beating he received from PacMan. No one other than Manny Pacquiao gave him a beating like that, not even the Pretty Boy Floyd Mayweather.

Pacquiao threw 585 punches and landed 224 punches while De la Hoya threw 83 out of 402 punches. While for power punches, Pacquiao connected 195 while De La Hoya landed a few 51 punches.

Though Oscar De la Hoya lost the Dream Match, he will still be walking away with a smile on his face with all the money he made from sponsors and for promoting.

A new era emerges. An era of a great warrior. Welcome to the Pacquiao era.
